Precious Metal Division

Gold Section

Gold is leached and precipitated from Gold Mud produced in electro-refining. In hydrometallurgical processing Gold is separated utilizing sequential leaching, precipitation and filtration steps.

Its main advantage for the producer is that it offers a high direct recovery rate as well as a very low inventory of metals bound in the process.

Diamond Section

Diamonds are often found in the gravel layer, which collects under layers of other material, such as mud, clay and underwater plant-life.

The diamonds collected in the recovery process are cleaned in an acid solution, washed, weighed and packaged in sealed containers. In accordance with the Kimberley process, these containers are sealed with a tamper resistant seal, numbered on site, and a certificate of origin is issued.
